A sobering look at 2009
2 January 2009: Well, we made it to 2009. Now what? What kinds of changes do Americans want and need? More critically, what kinds of changes will our leftist Congress and our new leftist President, Barack Hussein Obama push into place? Let’s cover a few major areas of need for our country that require the right definition, strategy, planning and action, not change.

It will be to our peril to dismiss the latest claims of civil rights violations levied by CAIR as trivial, as it is clearly within the plans of Islamists to take over our country and the West from within. - Douglas J. Hagmann
17 December 2008: A press release issued yesterday by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) provides yet another example that clearly illustrates that the fundamental Muslim agenda in Western countries, specifically in the U.S. and Canada is not one of assimilation. In this instance, in fact, it is not only contemptible, but contempt in the most literal sense.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations called on the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate alleged civil rights violations against Muslim women in the state of Georgia. The basis of their complaint stems from an incident involving a Muslim woman who was jailed yesterday on contempt of court charges. The unidentified woman was attempting to enter a courtroom in Douglasviille, Georgia to “deal with a matter related to a nephew’s traffic citation” when she was asked by a bailiff to remove her hijab, or Islamic headscarf, before entering. Instead of complying with request, the woman delivered an expletive laden response while steadfastly refusing to remove her head covering. As a result of her actions, she was taken before a judge and sentenced to a ten-day jail term for contempt of court. Now, CAIR is up in arms over this egregious violation of her civil rights, and is demanding an investigation to be launched by our own justice department.

7 December 2008: Based on extensive research and review of nearly 1,100 pages of court documents filed within the last 60 days, the Northeast Intelligence Network has identified 19 lawsuits filed in various venues across the U.S. by a variety of Americans against Barack Hussein OBAMA, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), the Secretaries of State of several states, and other related parties.
The common issue of each lawsuit confronts the eligibility of Barack Hussein OBAMA to become America’s 44th President on January 20, 2009. Of the 19 lawsuits researched, thirteen-(13) remain active or somewhat active, meaning that the courts in the various venues in which they have been filed are considering the merits of the individual cases. At least six others have been dismissed or can otherwise be described as “dead-on-arrival” due to a number of different and wide ranging issues. Of the 13 remaining cases, however, three-(3) stand out from the rest based on the nature of their claims, each providing somewhat different perspectives relating to one core issue:
Perhaps it is no coincidence that this article is being published on December 7th, 2008, the 67th anniversary of the attack on America by the Japanese at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on this day in 1941. Barack Hussein OBAMA contends that he was born in Hawaii, a claim that despite countless erroneous media reports and reckless, poorly researched postings on numerous Internet Blogs to the contrary, has yet to be proven by Barack Hussein OBAMA or anyone else named as co-defendants.
Of the three aforementioned lawsuits, two raise questions about his actual location of birth (Berg, Keyes), while the third (Donofrio) focuses on his citizenship status. (While this might admittedly be an oversimplification, I believe it is a sufficient characterization for the purpose of this article).
Instead, Barack Hussein OBAMA, in conjunction with the co-defendants, has reportedly spent between $800,000 to close to $1,000,000 (one million dollars), using at least three different law firms to fight these civil actions. Now, consider that each and every one of the lawsuits filed against him could be immediately dismissed by the mere production of a single piece of paper that is available to him for the paltry sum of $12.50 at a recorder’s office in Hawaii. Keep in mind that at this point, OBAMA would likely not even have to make the document public, but provide it to the applicable judge or official for verification purposes to make this controversial maelstrom disappear.
As an investigator and a rational American citizen, I have to ask myself why Barack Hussein OBAMA has chosen not to dispose of this very simple matter in the most logical and expeditious manner possible. Not only would that satisfy these pesky plaintiffs who happen to respect the rule of law as laid out in the Constitution of the United States, but it would also go a long way to brand them and their supporters as deluded conspiracy theorists who have way too much time on their hands.
Following that same line of logic, I then have to ask myself why this matter of such constitutional importance has not received the coverage by the corporate media that it deserves. More ink has been used, and more airtime has been provided to the civil and criminal legal issues of the likes of O.J. Simpson than the possible constitutional ramifications of the eligibility questions of the new leader of the free world. I would argue that questions surrounding the eligibility of a professional football, basketball or baseball player, NASCAR race driver, or Olympic athlete would garner more media attention and outrage of otherwise rational Americans than this matter, which has far more important ramifications for this country as well as the entire planet.
Equally troubling is the failure of those who have been labeled or otherwise accepted as the public ambassadors of American conservatives holding much coveted and very valuable platforms, opportunities and audiences to address this issue with the intellectual honesty it deserves. In this instance, I am specifically referring to the vocal gatekeepers of American conservatism such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Bill O’Reilly whose combined audience and consequential influence is staggering to the imagination.
The same applies to conservative political pundits such as Michelle Malkin, Michael Medved and David Horowitz, the latter who, in an article published today, described Alan Keyes, one of the plaintiffs of the lawsuits, “an unhinged demagogue on the political fringe” for his role in wanting to insure that we are adhering to the rule of law outlined in the U.S. Constitution. This, by the way, is a key tactic employed by those who cannot fight the argument with facts; they attack the messenger.
By simply ignoring the legitimate questions raised by these lawsuits, however, it efficiently and effectively serves to brand anyone wanting answers as a card-carrying member of the lunatic, malcontented fringe of society.
Perhaps most disturbing of all is what I have found while researching this issue, something that requires much more time and space than can be allotted here. There appears to be an unprecedented level of collusion between numerous political power brokers on both sides of the political divide, elected and appointed officials on both the federal and state levels, as well as members of the corporate media. It is interesting if not alarming to take a few steps back in an effort to gain a wider perspective, and finding unusual alliances and political “bed partners” among various members this group.
To provide a bit of insight into what I am referencing, consider and conduct research yourself into some events that have taken place within the past several years – events that have effectively changed or otherwise had a direct impact on the social and geopolitical landscape of America and its power structure. A few examples include such things as NAFTA, the SPP treaty, border and immigration issues, the Patriot Act, the Global Poverty Act of 2007, the management of the oil “crisis,” the most recent economic crisis and the remedies enacted, and the recent G-20 economic summit, where President Bush essentially provided economic oversight of U.S. economic institutions to the European Union.
There is indeed something very wrong taking place, having sinister implications and global overtones. Sound too conspiratorial? Well, as long I will undoubtedly be branded a “conspiracy loon” for raising the issue of constitutional eligibility of the messianic Barack Hussein Obama, I might as well go all of the way.
Meanwhile, the constitutional “elephant in the room” is still there. And if I had to make a guess on how long the elephant would be staying, well, let’s just say this: I’d be planning on moving the furniture out and the food, water and the tons of newspapers that will be needed in.

"It almost sounds as if the same author of the Muslim Brotherhood Plan drafted this piece of garbage onto paper."--Randy Taylor
25 November 2008:The ultimate example of "the pot calling the kettle black" has occurred at the United Nations. Muslim countries won backing for a UN anti-blasphemy measure termed "Combating Defamation of Religions" where it will be unlawful to say anything derogatory about Islam. It passed with a vote of 85-50 with 42 abstentions in a key UN General Assembly committee, and will enter into the international record after an endorsement by the plenary later in the year.
This resolution is part of a ten year plan launched in 2005 by the 57 Islamic states (you know, the states Obama said he wanted to visit...oops, he meant the 50 United States). The aforementioned 57 states comprise the "Organization of Islamic Conference." Since this is a closed membership organization limited to Islamic countries, it has no place in the UN, since religion is the sole determining factor for membership.

It’s been kind of quiet around here lately as the staff here tries to digest what has transpired since the night of the elections. I’ve been at a loss for words and thoughts to put on paper. Our goal is helping to protect the security of this great nation yet I am astounded by the fact that American actually voted Barack Hussein Obama into the highest office in this nation. A Black Muslim is now our president and we can’t even get definitive proof by birth certificate of who he really is.
Our Constitution is no longer readable in a manner that promotes freedom and democracy and our country is up for sale to our enemies. We are in horrific economic times and that places us into a national security night mare as based on previous behaviors, Washington DC will surely sacrifice vital security measures in a feeble effort to appease our enemies at the negotiating table as we parlay or attempt to parlay our way out of our economic descent. Unfortunately, the people with money overseas are not interested in seeing the United States survive this crisis but are instead only concerned with how they can benefit as we crumble. A broke, manipulated, feeble country cannot defend itself.

Recent headline from the Drudge Report
4 November 2008: The above image and headline recently appeared on the Drudge Report website, which caught my attention as I personally believe it is not only accurate, but is quite prophetic.
Writing as an individual and not necessarily reflecting the views, opinions, research or analysis of the Northeast Intelligence Network, I would like to offer a few brief personal thoughts for anyone who might care to read them. I have said much of what I am about to write during my regular weekly Friday appearances on The Roth Show, a nationally syndicated radio talk show heard on the IRN-USA Radio Network. I have been intentionally silent about some of these issues on this website as it is not the proper venue.
It is my belief that we will awaken tomorrow with Barack Hussein Obama as our new President-elect, winning at least 328 electoral votes. That said, any person of reasonable sensibilities must ask how, in the short span of less than a decade, a man can arise from virtual obscurity to hold the highest office in the U.S. and become of of the most powerful people in the world. He is a man with a checkered background of associates, who refused to simply provide his own birth certificate to quell rumors of his eligibility to run for the highest office in our country, has undoubtedly been groomed, counseled, and heavily financed by countless questionable associates and backers whose motives, I believe, are not in the best interests of the United States. A significant amount of his funding has been traced to Middle East sources or sources with close Middle East ties. Accordingly, his position as President certainly spells bad news for our only true allies in the Middle East: Israel. And because of the latter, may God have mercy on us.
I don't believe that it is a coincidence that 29 years ago today, Islamic terrorists stormed the U.S> Embassy in Tehran, taking 66 American hostages, later releasing 14. The remaining 52 (two of whom i have spoken to over the last few years) were held hostage, as America was, for 444 days.
Most Americans have long since forgotten about the 1979 hostage crisis. One of the Muslim terrorist thugs who was instrumental in the planning and handling of that situation is the current President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a man who Barack Hussein Obama plans to lunch with should he prevail in this election. Another hostage crisis for America is in the making - this time from within.
I hope I'm wrong, but fear that I'm not.

"Did it not strike anybody as odd that this guy popped up after 9/11 when we went to war with Islamic Terrorists and people were disgruntled with George W. Bush? Islam is at our doorstep waiting to gain entry and you can be sure that Barack Hussein Obama will usher them right in."-- Randy Taylor
29 October 2008: I hate politics. I don’t like writing about them since my focus is on terrorism and not the happenings in the beltway. However, before you cast your vote this November 4, 2008 you need to look at all the issues surrounding Barack Hussein Obama and think real hard about the repercussions of this individual being placed in charge of the most powerful, most proud, freedom based nation on this earth.
Barack Hussein Obama is a security risk to our nation both inwardly and outwardly.
Unfortunately right now we are in an economic crisis and when it comes to money people get a little out of whack, they tend to do things that they wouldn’t do under normal circumstances and they make rash decisions because of the fear that they could lose financially.

"Palestinians are to the Israelis what the Taliban and al Qaeda are to the US." --Randy Taylor
27 October 2008: Last Thursday, an editorial in the form of an "analysis" titled "Redirecting the war on terror" appeared in the Daily Times of Pakistan. The article was written by Talat Masood, a retired Lieutenant General of the Pakistan Army.
This analysis, by a former military official of a nuclear armed Muslim nation that is supposed to be an ally of the United States provides extremely important insights into the mindset that seems to be so pervasive among our Muslim "allies" as well as Muslims in the U.S. and elsewhere. It is a mindset that is nothing short of ridiculous.
The U.S., it is alleged, is being "insensitive" toward Islamic culture as we defend ourselves against the greatest threat our nation has ever faced. Baloney. Accordingly, I am compelled to write the following "counter-analysis" to set the record straight.
In this point-by-point refutation, excerpts from the article are in black; my comments are in dark blue.
Analysis: Redirecting the war on terror —Talat Masood
The war on terror during President Bush’s office has taken menacing overtones — as though it is directed against Islam and is a clash of civilizations. Both candidates, especially Obama, are credited with strong intellectual capability and may revise this policy to win back the confidence of Muslims.
Randy Taylor: It is indeed a clash of civilizations, where there has always been differences in policies and politics and religious goals, but the Muslims are the ones that made an issue out of it, using violence against the United states to which the United States has responded and will continue to respond. Regardless of intellectual capability, either candidate will have to respond, with force, as terrorism isn’t an intellectual issue.
Presidential elections in the United States in November 2008 will bring in new leadership and administration to power in Washington. Irrespective of the winner — Barack Obama or John McCain — it is clear that the global war on terror will remain among the highest priorities for the US. Other areas, like the economic crisis, a resurgent Russia, an ascending China and a defiant Iran, are also pertinent and will need to be addressed.
Randy Taylor: One thing at a time General. We are aware of all the issues, including Pakistan’s resistance to letting us get into the border regions to hunt these terrorists. Terrorist that are plotting the overthrow of your government and planning attacks on the US and other western countries.
From the presidential debates, there appears to be a bipartisan consensus on the war on terror, and no radical change in direction and policy is expected, at least initially. There could be stylistic and nuanced changes in approach, and a possible rearrangement of priorities. Al Qaeda and the growing network of radical Islamist organizations, whose capabilities and support is increasing in soft Muslim states, would be the prime focus.
Randy Taylor: Al Qaeda and Radical Islam doesn’t deserve “stylistic and nuanced changes in approach”, al Qaeida should be eliminated by all means necessary.

Barack Obama has chosen Senator Joe Biden as his running mate. As this site primarily deals with national security, that will be how we analyze the choice. Obviously, this helps Obama deal with his lack of experience and credibility on foreign policy. Biden knows his stuff and whether you agree with him or not, his knowledge can not be doubted.
On the one hand, Biden did consistently say not enough troops were in Iraq. He deserves credit for this. On the other hand, as soon as President Bush called for the surge, Biden said it was a bad move and the time for high troop levels had passed. This is a bizarre turn-around and I can only attribute it to Biden's natural reflex to oppose anything the President was for, despite Biden's previous feelings on the issue.
Biden also can be praised for voting to fund the troops in Iraq despite his opposition to the war and the extreme political pressure from the left to vote against it. Biden has shown himself to be a great supporter of our troops.

"After the world watched how we backed our 'Allies' in Georgia, when we send out our US Ally Special Invitation Cards in the next upcoming military conflict, we shouldn’t be too surprised at the 'Return to Sender' envelopes coming back."
This week as Russia pounded the small country of Georgia, a US ally, one has to wonder what the benefits of being a US ally really are? In World War II it meant that if an enemy such as Nazi Germany decided to invade your borders, then kill your people and level your cities and towns you could count on a military response from the United States. We would come to your defense. We would unleash our might to defend you. Now it means we will send you Band-Aids and food. Big deal. You will get as much thought as someone sending a late birthday card to an uncle they never really liked. The Kuwaitis in the crosshairs of Iraq in the early 1990’s received much better response than Georgia did this week. But then we have vested interest in Kuwait whereas in Georgia all we had was a willingness to be an ally. The bases and missile defense shield weren’t built yet. That is one of the reasons nothing was done. Georgia is only a fraternity pledge at this point. This must have been "Hell Week."
